I really like the colour scheme on this because the purple catches your eye but the black and white tones it down and makes it look more professional. Maybe you could change the colour of some of the text as the white doesn't stand out as much as it could against the background :)
Try to integrate text and image if you can. Consider the placement of the quote separated from the name of the artist. Nice image and colour scheme. Not sure the name of the magazine makes it clear it's music- could you have a slogan for the mag or use other images to communicate music?
